Here's a quick demo of the difference between using a Nikon D700 with and without the Nikon MB-D10 battery pack/grip. The Nikon D700 is loaded with a 32GB SanDisk Extreme memory card. The MB-D10 is loaded with eight Energizer Lithium Ultimate AA batteries. The MB-D10 can also be used on the Nikon D300.

Quick review of the Ebay version MB-D10 Cost was $35 You do need to either use AA batteries or the ENL4 battery to get the 8 fps.
