Dankzij de krachtige imaging technologie van Canon is de EOS 550D een stuk toegankelijker voor de gebruiker. Zo ondersteunen de geavanceerde Canon DIGIC 4 beeldprocessor en de 18 megapixel sensor de standaard ISO waarden van 100 -- 6400. En dat terwijl de in-camera technologie voor ruisreductie zorgt en de prestaties bij weinig licht enorm verbetert. Verder zorgt de 14-bits beeldverwerking van het systeem - met vloeiende tintgradaties en een natuurlijke kleurweergave - voor hoge kwaliteit prints en haarscherpe weergave op een beeldscherm. Wil je de camera snel en nauwkeurig instellen? In dat geval is de EOS 550D voorzien van een 9-punts AF-system met - voor /2.8 of snellere objectieven - een extragevoelig 'cross-type' punt in het midden. Ook ondersteunt deze camera snelle reeksopnamen met een snelheid van 3.7 beelden per seconde (bps). Al deze kenmerken en eigenschappen stellen jou in staat meer invloed uit te oefenen op je opnames. En hierdoor kan je gemakkelijk en nauwkeurig actiemomenten vastleggen. Verder registreert deze camera videobeelden met de Full HD 1920x1080 resolutie en stelt hij jou in staat beeldsnelheden te selecteren van 30, 25 en 24 bps. Canon 7D - EF-S 18-135/3.5-5.6 Test
Just a few shots at different ranges and stops. This zoom is pretty good with it wide angle of view range (as a 28-216mm on a FF Camera), but you have to stop it down between f5.6 and f8.0 to get the best results. Otherwise it can produce unsharp corners (especially at 18 mm wide open). The sweet spot is around 35mm with best performance in terms of center and corner sharpness. At 135mm you get the best results with f8. So, for every day usage I´m satisfied and would recommend it, but the emphasis is placed on "day". At 18mm there is vignetting wide open, barrel distortion and noticeable chromatic aberration. Vignetting can be reduced by stopping down a stop and is eliminated at f8. Best thing is the image stabilisation (Canon says up to 4 stops) and the AF function. Every clip was made with AF before shooting. All untouched (no sharpness or cc in post). Auch ich darf die 7D mein Eigenen nennen, hier nun das erste richtige Video, naja, ein paar Minuten eben. Nichts besonderes das weiß ich, muss noch viel testen und lesen und erfahren :P Angefangen von der besten Einstellung bis hin zum Video bearbeiten/exportieren. Habe nun mit dem Format ".mov" das beste Ergebnis erzielt - Video wurde 166MB groß - villt weiß ja jemand noch was besseres :P

Canon EF-S 18-135 F/3.5-5.6 IS LENS
If you need a good all-around lens for your Canon DSLR, this may be for you. I got it with my 7D but I would get it for any Canon APS-C DSLR. It's a good lens to have in your bag. The front element does not rotate so filters are no problem.
