Airbus A380 Lufthansa Economy Canon Powershot SX230 HS video
This a video of Flight LH 454 from Frankfurt to SFO. The video shows the majority of Lufthansa's economy class layout. Canon Powershot SX230 HS 720p @30fps The A380 seats are very comfortable. They are thin but provide excellent cushioning for a 10 hour flight. Knee room as seen in the video is great - 2 to 3 inches between my knee and the back the seat. I stand at 5ft 11 inches (180 cm) and could stretch out my legs. The middle seat does have an A/V box. Cabin is a 3 x 4 x 3 configuration. Airbus A380 takeoff Frankfurt Canon PowerShot SX230 HS
We were suppose to fly on the Boeing 747 but were switched to the Airbus 380-800. Lufthansa began flying from SFO on May 10th so we lucked out. This is my first time on the Airbus 380-800. From the outside, this aircraft is as big as a US federal penitentiary. In the video, as the plane taxis out, you can see another A380 parked. The takeoff was smooth and the aircraft is great at keeping out noise. The aircraft had a little bit of a running start. We took off from Frankfurt to San Francisco. The flight is about 10 hr and 30min. The economy class cabin is one of the most comfortable I sat in. At 4:40 this video shows a pad that you can create live using the JD-800's effects and sliders. I am using a Roland DP-2 footswitch to hold the chord down while I set the JD-800's phaser & delay. Then I change the cutoff and rez, and pitch with the "pitch coarse" knob. To get the "whoosing" effect you could set LFO1 on the filter. JD-800's resonance in full effect here but this is not using high settings. Other sounds in this video include crystal rhodes, strings, piano, PPG sounds, cathedral organ, of course basses and leads. Recorded with a Canon Powershot, sorry for using the camera mic. These JD-800 videos were my first on YouTube.

Canon PowerShot S100 Review Every once in a blue moon a digital camera saunters across my desk that changes the game at multiple levels, and the Canon PowerShot S100 ($429.99) is one of those cameras. For an advanced point-and-shoot, the PowerShot S100 is about as good as you can get, thanks to various improvements Canon made over last year's PowerShot S95. The S100 was granted a shiny new EOS-inspired 12.1-megapixel CMOS sensor with Canon's brand new Digic 5 image processing, which means the image capturing hardware has been totally revamped and the S100 can capture up to 8fps in Burst mode at full resolution. Thanks to the new imaging sytstem, HD video has been boosted to 1080p Full HD at 24fps with 720p now at 30fps rather than 24fps. Nokia Lumia 800 review
Een korte review van de Nokia 800 Lumia. Het toestel draait op Windows 7.5 en heeft een 8 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera. Onder de motorkap draait een 1.4 ghz processor van Qualcomm, echter is het wel een single core. Het toestel heeft verder 16GB intern geheugen en 512MB ram en heeft een 3,7" amoled scherm. Windows Phone 7.5 is een regelrechte tegenhanger voor iOS wat bijvoorbeeld op de Apple iPhone draait. Dit zie je terug door de vele restricties die Microsoft je oplegt. Het systeem is vrij gesloten en er wat weinig aan te passen. Je startscherm bestaat uit 2 tabbladen: 1 met 'tiles' en 1 met een applicatielijst van A tot Z. Het tabblad met deze zogenaamde tiles (tegels vrij vertaalt) geven je een geanimeerd overzicht van bepaalde applicaties. Als je de foto-tile erbij pakt zie je elke keer een andere foto voorbij bewegen. Zo ook met de applicatie personen, waar je na een koppeling met Facebook je profielfoto's van je contactpersonen zie voorbijkomen. Het systeem werkt erg snel en soepel. Microsoft heeft alleen ondersteuning voor Qualcomm processoren ingebouwd en heeft hierdoor alleen singlecore processor toestellen in de markt. Dat het systeem soepel blijft heeft net als bij Apple te maken dat de software perfect op de hardware is afgestemd. Ook is er alleen ondersteuning voor 1 schermverhouding: 800x480 pixels.
