This is my first video with the Canon Powershot D10 Underwater Camera. All settings are on automatic. I have ZERO camera knowledge and don't know how to tweak any of the cameras settings. I just bought this camera on eBay from a Canon Dealer for around 310.00 to take on our cruise to the Cayman Islands in August 2009. We plan on doing snorkeling, swimming with dolphins and all other kinds of water activities so I thought it would be good to have a good waterproof camera to commemorate the trip. I have been playing with this camera and I have to tell you - I LOVE IT!! I have however had one error with the lens that went away shortly after. Everything seems fine now. Go easy on me- this is my first video ever uploaded to YouTube.

Canon Powershot D10 Underwater Footage, Puerto Adventuras
This is footage from the Canon Powershot D10 while underwater during my visit to the Yucatan. nothing spectacular, just some fish. My review of the camera is a 3.5 out of 5. Picture quality is GREAT Ease of use is GOOD Battery life is GREAT.... Used it during the flight from DFW to MEX city to Cancun, then at the beach, then today, 2 days of continous use and only now is the battery low. Durability... so far so good but this is where theres a problem. --Currently my Canon Powershot D10's cover for the USB is allowing water to become trapped in the area but keeps a seal around the actual USB plug. This will become a problem should water thats in the area flow into the USB plug when opening. Also the only way to dry out this water is to open the cover. I will be contacting Canon about this though to make sure i didnt get a faulty one.

Unboxing of the new Canon Powershot D10 Waterproof camera. Recently purchased from Amazon UK for around £258.00 GBP without express delivery works out to be around $418 US / $487 Canadian,, probably the cheapest as other sites sell it for over £350 GBP i believe. Battery almost lasted me for around 3 hours of use here and there by turnng it off when not in use. I regularly used this camera while swimming and in water parks with no problems, everyone seemed to comment on it and were surprised that i was actually using a camera underwater and in a hot tub. I suggest buying a 8GB SD Card as it will give you plenty of space to record videos and take pictures. Other than the bulkyness of the camera id still give it a thumbs up no doubt!

This is filmed with the Canon Powershot D10 My wife and I doing the Dorky helmet Seatrek thing at Xel Ha, a marine aquatic park. It was fun, but we had done the whole Sting Ray thing when we went to the Grand Caymans. If we would have know that there was one with the dolphins we would have jumped on that, too bad we didnt see the sign until we were leaving.
