this is just quick vid about me unboxing the new fujifilm finepix xp 10 camera. this camera is water proof shock proof dust proof and winter proof i highly recommend this camera to any body.
just a few quick test clips. First 2 shot a local water park by someone who has never owned their own camera, so forgive the photography skills. LOL The third clip was a quick test clip shot in our pool. This camera takes GREAT pictures and I'm more than impressed with the video quality!!
Fuji XP10 Camera test in 16x9 720p video mode. I just bought a new XP10 camera because I don't really like my Pentax W90 because it has too much flare. So this is the first trial run in sun and water down at English Bay about a block from where I live. It seems easy enough to use. The viewfinder isn't too bright in sunlight but, generally, I like this little camera.

www.learntocatchcatfish.com - Several months ago I did a review of the Fujifilm Finepix XP10 Digital Camera. This is a short video where I tested the video camera underwater (in the bath tub) and yes, it actually still worked when I took it out of the water.

FUJI FINEPIX XP 10 test clip. Was doing a test on a camera when I came across this. Pulled out my Fuji FinePix XP and grabbed a bit of the action. My hands were full with two cameras, and other stuff. Video by David (Butch) Silvercloud, 19 May, 2011. Granville Street, Vancouver. Pan the Piper.

Not sure where the word "unboxing" comes from but I don't like it. :-) Anyway the box contains camera, driver disc, manual, cable, battery, battery charger, as expected. I believe this camera has been discontinued and replaced with the Finepix XP20 so you should be able to find an XP10 (if you can still find one) on sale for well under $150, while they're still around. If you're looking for a waterproof/underwater still and video camera, check out this info and compare... Specs: 12MP photos, 5x optical zoom 720p HD video with sound Proprietary rectangular battery with charger, battery is good for a full day's use including lots of video. I've never had a full-charged battery die on me during the day so just charge it every night on vacation and you should be good to go Takes standard HD cards (I've used up to 16GB cards with no problems) so it's easy to buy another if you fill yours up and aren't near a computer Summary of my experience with this camera: - being able to take underwater photos and video is great fun for me and the kids - the sound on this camera leaves a lot to be desired. Underwater it's OK as long as the camera isn't moving. Outside of water it's OK but too sensitive, wind noise is a problem and forget about using this for anything loud like concerts or live music - I took a 1" slice of pool noodle and attached it to the wrist-band, so that the camera would float if dropped in water - the controls are a bit awkward, especially the zoom in/out buttons - I ...

A test of the video quality on the Fujifilm FinePix XP10. Set to 720p. By the way if anyone knows what the weird sound is when zooming in on something, let me know..
