    A field video test of the Olympus PEN E-P2 DSLR, featuring tropical plants and flowers. The 14-42mm kit lens and the in-camera microphone were used. The DSLR was hand-held, with no motion-stabilization. Very little color tweaking, the images are pretty much right out of the camera. You'll see that the kit lens is quite capable of macro shots, it gives beautiful bokeh, and there's even a surprise macro shot at the end. Try to guess what it is.

    This is a direct comparison between Olympus' lenses for the Micro Four/Third system cameras. The 14-42mm is the standard kit lens, but for a bit extra you can get the 14-150mm with the Double Zoom Bundle, which I would recommend. The 14-150mm lens is very quiet and has a noticeably faster focus speed compared to the 14-42mm, however, the 14-42mm lens has the ability to compact into a really small size for what it is, which makes it perfect for the camera. Unless you're looking for extra zoom though, then the 14-150mm wins hands down (bar the size arena). This was shot with the Olympus E-PL1

Die Überlegung mir eine richtige Kamera zuzulegen kam relativ spontan.Nach einiger Recherche fiel meine Entscheidung zugunsten der E-PM1, da mir Spiegelreflexkameras zu sperrig und kompliziert sind, "einfache" Kameras aber nicht außreichende Bildqualität besitzen.Speziell für die PEN "Mini" habe ich mich entschieden, da ich vorher schonmal eine "ältere" PEN (E-PL1) in der Hand hatte, und diese mir schon super gefallen hat. Einziges Manko war damals die Sperrigkeit.Pro:+super handlich, liegt klasse in der Hand+einfache Bedienung+super Bildqualität+einfache Menüführung+wahnsinnig(!) schneller Autofokus (dieser wird ja auch viel beworben, im Vergleich zur E-P1 liegen Welten)+Art Filter (klasse zum Experimentieren)An sich muss ich sagen, dass ich bevor ich die Kamera gekauft habe fast kein Interesse an Fotografie hatte. Seit ich die Kamera habe nehme ich sie fast überall mit hin, weil es einfach einen riesen Spaß macht damit rumzuexperimentieren und so einfach super Fotos zu machen =) Mittlerweile versuche ich mich immer weiter mit den Einstellungen der Kamera zu beschäftigen und mit Blenden- und Belichtungseinstellungen <b>...</b>
