Olympus E5 hands on preview
Olympus has announced the E-5 professional DSLR, replacing the E-3. Almost three years after launching its predecessor, the company has refreshed its professional flagship to reflect the features of its latest E-series and Micro Four Thirds cameras. The E-5 is built around the weather-sealed body of the E-3 and offers a 12Mp Live MOS sensor, 2.7" 920k LCD, Live View with Contrast AF, HD video recording and shutter speeds of up to 1/8000th sec. It will be available from October 2010 at an estimated retail price of $1699.99.

Olympus PEN E-PL1: Sensor Size
At the heart of the Olympus PEN E-PL1 is a large-size image sensor thats the same sensor as the one inside the Olympus E-30 and E-620 DSLR models. The only difference between this sensor and what the pros use is that this big sensor is inside the much smaller body of the E-PL1.
