Olympus 17mm Lens reverse macro w/ Olympus E-P2- BumbleBee.mp4
Using a m43 reverse ring, I was able to use the Famous Olympus 17mm lens as a macro lens. For one thing, it works like a charm. But one will need to have steady hands or use a tripod as the magnification is intense! The full body shot was taken with a Minolta W.Rokkor - HG 35mm 2.8 lens mounted to an adapter. Great lens for videos and macro shots too!!

Olympus PEN E-PL1: Sensor Size
At the heart of the Olympus PEN E-PL1 is a large-size image sensor thats the same sensor as the one inside the Olympus E-30 and E-620 DSLR models. The only difference between this sensor and what the pros use is that this big sensor is inside the much smaller body of the E-PL1. The design of the new PEN E-P3 is very similar to that of the E-P2 and E-P1 with a few notable distinctions, including a pop-up flash, movement of the mode dial from the left to right hand side of the body, and an additional customisable Fn2 button. The E-P3 is also the first Olympus PEN to feature an OLED touch screen and new improved ultra fast auto focus system. Four Thirds AF on a Micro Four Thirds Olympus Pen E-P2 using a Zuiko Digital 12-60mm f/2.8-4 ED SWD
This is the second clip I've produced that examines how well Four Thirds lenses autofocus on an Olympus Pen E-P2 Micro Four Thirds camera. The first was using a ZD 50mm F/2 macro, see: www.youtube.com This time we are using a ZD 12-60 SWD. Ich gehe hier nur mal auf die wichtigsten Punkte ein:Kontrast-AFWährend die E-P1 eher den Einstieg zu �FT darstellt, sollte die E-P2 nun ernsthaftere Performance aufweisen. Mit bestimmten Objektiven tut sie das auch. Ein Lumix 20/1.7 zB liefert keinen wesentlich schnelleren AF als an der E-P1. Ein m.Zuiko 14-42II dagegen liefert ähnliche Geschwindigkeiten wie eine DSLR mit Phasen-AF. Das ist schon sehr eindrucksvoll! Man darf ja nicht vergessen dass der Kontrast-AF auch wesentlich präziser ist als der Phasen-AF. Mit 80% Treffsicherheit liegt die E-P2 zwar noch knapp 5% hinter der Lumix GH2, aber deutliche 65% über einer Canon 5DII. Und das bei annähernd gleicher Geschwindigkeit. Hier wird Olympus sicherlich noch einiges bringen in Sachen Geschwindigkeit und Präzision!PerformanceInsgesamt hat die E-P2 in Geschwindigkeit zugelegt. Der Sensor wird schneller ausgelesen, ein Darkframe wird schneller berechnet und die JPGs werden grundsätzlich schneller gespeichert. Auch die Videofunktion ist nun deutlich entspannter zu bedienen da das Speichern wesentlich schneller stattfindet (mit <b>...</b>

This is the third Four Thirds lens we've recorded autofocusing with an Olympus Pen E-P2 Micro Four Thirds camera, ths time using a Zuiko Digital 14-54mm f/2.8-3.5 II,which is optimised for contrast AF. And as you can see the 14-54 II focuses quickly and reliably on the E-P2.
