    This is a direct comparison between Olympus' lenses for the Micro Four/Third system cameras. The 14-42mm is the standard kit lens, but for a bit extra you can get the 14-150mm with the Double Zoom Bundle, which I would recommend. The 14-150mm lens is very quiet and has a noticeably faster focus speed compared to the 14-42mm, however, the 14-42mm lens has the ability to compact into a really small size for what it is, which makes it perfect for the camera. Unless you're looking for extra zoom though, then the 14-150mm wins hands down (bar the size arena). This was shot with the Olympus E-PL1

Als Reminiszenz an die Neuzeit habe ich mir dann die EOS 350 gekauft und einiges Lehrgeld in Objektiven gelassen, kam aber einem brauchbaren Reisepaket mit der EOS und dem 24-105 sehr nahe. Trotzdem ist das Ganze wenn man viel im Flieger unterwegs ist, immer noch sperrig.Dann sah ich die PEN, kaufte das Paket mit den beiden Zoom-Objektiven und gönnte mir den elektronischen Sucher...Die Argumentation, das Gehäuse sei so stylisch und kompakt, dass man sie locker zum Gala-Diner mitnehmen könnte, ist Quark, denn so zierlich ist sie auch wieder nicht. Aber alles Andere, was im Prospekt aufgelistet war, habe ich beeindruckend bestätigt gefunden. Schon im Automatik-Modus macht die Kamera einfach hervorragende Bilder. Die Programme und Optionen sind auch für "Nichtprogrammierer" schnell nachvollziehbar und sehr praxisorientiert. Die manuellen Möglichkeiten sind für ambitionierte Amateure auf jeden Fall ausreichend. Was mich aber am meisten fasziniert hat, sind die ART-Programme, mit denen man, wirklich nette Gags erzielen und interessante Aufnahmen erstellen kann. Ich habe auch <b>...</b>

    Today we have a video test of the olympus Micro 4/3's lens. Since the begining of Micro 4/3's people have been looking for a "do all" lens. The standard 14-42 was not enough telephoto and the 45-200 was too big. Olympus has answered the call with the 14-150. This is a small, light-weight, super zoom that can be equipped to any micro 4/3's camera including the Panasonic G2 that was used for this video.
