    "I'm Just Wild About Harry" (1921) is a song written by Eubie Blake (music) and Noble Sissle (lyrics) for the Broadway production of Shuffle Along, written by Blake, Sissle, FE Miller, and Aubrey Lyles. The song was the most popular number in the first successful Broadway theater production to have an all African-American cast. The show and, in particular, the song broke what had been a taboo against musical and theatrical depictions of romantic love between African-Americans. Harry S. Truman selected "I'm Just Wild About Harry" as his campaign song for the United States presidential election of 1948. Its success in politics led to a popular revival. This Piano Roll was recorded live on the QRS Marking Piano on May 19, 1973 when Eubie Blake was 90 years young, (tho there is evidence that he was merely 86). Whatever may be the case, Eubie, famously quoted "If I'd known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself", spent the day recording several selections and improvising at the marking piano, many of which were produced as Celebrity Series Hand-played rolls. The piano seen & heard is my old warhorse HOMER by Mason & Risch Solodant expression upright that I restored, rebuilt from junk really, more than 20 years ago. I have added a variable speed vacuum pump in the basement as well as auto rewind/repeat. The foot pump mechanism remains and is used on occasion. :-) Please pardon the audiovisual quality...still learning the bells & whistles of this <b>...</b>

    Although the shutter speed of digital video camera is less than 10msec, the shutter speed of human eye is about 40msec.The intermittent still images of digital video are able to recognize rapid motion, because the image of movement in shutter opening becomes the image that flowed. The title of this presentation is "Visible thermal motion of water around ice". Can we observe the thermal motion of water? It is shown in the first movie that was captured with large magnification through a digital camera of [Pentax Optio W 90]. Here, the flickering in the movie was decreased through a digital filter of Windows Media Encoder. Why can we observe the fluctuation on cluster of water? A cluster consists of the helixes those are arranged in parallel. It has an optical rotatory power. And, each cluster of water fluctuates by the thermal motion. In a cluster, there is rotational vibration around an electric axis with keeping helical structure. This mechanism will be explained in the next movie "Origin of life 2 point 4". The rotational vibration accompanies with the fluctuation of the size and the rotation is possible to exchange hydrogen atom. At the melting point of ice, the size of cluster is large and the movement is slow. But, at room temperature, the movement of cluster becomes intense, and the size of cluster becomes small.     Als ich mit meiner kleinen Tochter heute Ihren ersten Drachen steigen ließ - ein Billigdrachen aus dem lokalen Drachenladen in einem Smallpack für das Handschuhfach im Auto- erinnerte ich mich an einen Artikel in einer Fotozeitschrift: "Bilder aus der Luft mit einem Drachen aufnehmen". Gesagt, getan: Den Drachen etwa 10 m steigen lassen, dann die Pentax Optio W60 (klein, stoßsicher und wasserfest) über die Schlaufe für die Handschlaufe an die Drachenschnur fallsicher geknotet und ab die Post nach oben. Die Drachenschnur ist etwa 50 m lang. Zur Veröffentlichung mußte ich das Video drehen, da aufgrund der Geometrie des Schlaufenhaltes die Kamera um 90 Grad gekippt war. Der Drachen zog die Kamera schnell hoch. Zunächst habe ich aber zu viel "Schnur gegeben" und die Kamera plumpste kurz zurück auf den Boden. Anschließend habe ich langsam Schnur gegeben und mich ein wenig im Schritttempo bewegt, wenn die Kamera nach unten zu fallen drohte. Geschätzte Kamerahöhe 10-20 m. Natürlich schaukelte die Kamera bei der Bewegung ganz schön heftig. Es gibt aber auch ruhige Sequenzen. Die Videostabilisierung bei Youtube hat bei den ruhigen Sequenzen ganze Arbeit geleistet! Für den ersten spontanen Einfall genial einfach. Nun werde ich mir das in der Zeitschrift empfohlene Kamera-Rig für die Stabilisierung basteln und von dort Video und Einzelbilder versuchen aufzunehmen.
