Sony SEL16F28 NEX 16mm Lens Review
Review of the 16mm kit lens for Sony's NEX cameras. In summary - small, compact, great build quality and minimal distortion however, poor corner sharpness and chromatic aberration let it down. Picture of the tree with corner and centre crops was shot at f3.5. The corner blurring would be reduced if stopped down further eg f8+ Still a decent lens for the price.

AMAZON DE www.amazon.de Kundenrezensionen: "Ich komme aus dem Compact-/Bridge-Lager der Fotofreunde. Meine Ambitionen gehen aber etwas über das reine Schnappschussfotografieren hinaus, da ich nach meinen Urlaub sehr aufwändige Filme aus Fotos und Vidios erstelle und vertone. Die Qualität von Fotos und Videos reichte mir oft nicht bei der Compacten und der Bridge-Kamera. Insbesesondereentgingen mir viele Aufnahmen bei Nacht und Dämmerung, wo der Blitz alles zunichte machte. Ich habe nun 3 Monate recherchiert und gezweifelt und hatte am Ende die Canon 550 D, Panasonic G3 oder Nex 5 in der engeren Auswahl. Die DSLR war mit letztlich noch zu groà mit komplizierterer Video-Funktion, die Panasonic hatte einen kleineren Sensor. AuÃerdem hatte ich mich in das Design der Nex verliebt und letztlich bei ihr auf "kaufen" geklickt. Nach tagelangem Testen und Ãben bin ich sehr zufrieden. Die Fotoqualität ist beindruckend, selbst schon in den Scenenprogrammen und der Automatik.Die manuellen Modi erfordern ein paar Tage Ãbung bei der Menüführung, machen dann aber auch viel Freude. Das 18-55 mmist ein prima Einsteigerobjektiv. Klar ich vermisse den Zoom-Bereich einer Bridge, aber die Bildquali ist den Verlust wert. Ich brauche eine Lesebrille und wollte eigentlich einen Sucher mit Dioptrinausgleich. Das war für mich der gröÃte NAchteil der NEX. Seit dem 20.6. gibt es aber es das Update 4.0 mit einer Kantenschä <b>...</b>
