Canon HF S100 VS. Canon XH A1S 24F TEST
Took at trip down to the local Flower House on the westside of chicago to do this test. With so many colors, shape, and sounds I figured this would be the perfect place for my first test. Both camcorders where set to auto, 24f/p mode and manually white balanced. HF S100 was shot in 24mbs mobe using sandisk 8gb extreme 3 30mbs edition SDHC card. Everything was shot hand held

First Letus Extreme Test with Canon XH A1s
This is my very first test with my new Letus Extreme on the Canon XH A1s. It's just a really rough handheld sequence that I really did for myself to test out a couple of my lenses and get a feel for the adapter as i have never used one before. Canon XH A1s Camcorder Test Footage
Test Footage from a Canon XH A1s camcorder after I calibrated the camera for color, lighting, contrast, etc. The microphone is a Rode NTG-2 that was held by a boom above the subjects head. I filmed this directly to the hard drive via firewire connection with Studuo 14 and Premiere Pro CS5... This was shot at 30P with only normal floresent ceiling lights burning. The subject matter is not as concerned as the video quality and settings. So here are the settings for XH A1.s Enjoy! Ein Testvideo mit meiner neuen HDV Videokamera, der Canon XH a1 s. Ich finde, diese Kamera einfach fantastisch. Die Bildqualität, Farbintensität und Tiefenschärfe ist selbst im Automatikmodus hervorragend. Aber man sollte ca. 400€ zusätzlich für ein externes Kondensator-Richtmikrofon investieren, da der Ton des eingebauten Mikros sehr schlecht ist.

Canon XH A1s Test Footage @ 24P on a cloudy winter day
I took my Canon XH A1s to the park on this cloudy day and tested the footage t @ 24P. I know it's winter and the colors aren't popping like they do in the spring and summer but this is a winter test. Since then my Canon was stolen in a home burgurly and I replaced it with a Z5U for wedding videography which works better in low light.. Overall the Canon is a great camcorder.
