The first edition of the Kodak Playsport was video camera was impressive. In 2011, there has been a few upgrades to the camera. Here is a video blog review of the new Zx5 Playsport, expected to be released in spring 2011 for $179, in red, green, white, black and aqua. my thoughts: The first PlaySport was a legit competitor to FlipVideo cameras, especially since the Playsport is waterproof and shockproof. These new updates, which includes auto-focus, makes it one of my favorite hand-held vid-cams store.kodak.com

Take note of the water being stuck in the Zx3's mic, even a while after being out of the water. The mic pickup, color, LCD and EIS are noticeably better on the Zx5...

Kodak Playsport Zx5: Underwater Test | Swimming Pool
In this video I am testing the Kodak Playsport Zx5. This camera was designed to be waterproof up to 10ft underwater. Includes an underwater correction mode which automatically adjusts for the low light conditions that are typical in underwater situations, allowing you to take better videos or photos underwater. I noticed after transferring the video(s) to my laptop, I could hear a high pitched sound throughout most of the video. Not sure what this could be. I will do further testing in the future.
