Samsung HMX H204 Test Video: Leafy Things
Samsung HMX H204 raw video file (untouched - unedited) of some leafy plants in the yard. Original video is 16 seconds @36.7MB shot with Auto everything in 1080/60i with a bitrate of 17.30 Mbps (superfine quality in samsung parlance). [I have no idea what youtube will do with it.] Bright sun to shadow at the beginning -- cloud overcast as progresses. Video jerks at the beginning and end because you have to touch the camera to start/stop recording.

Samsung HMX-H205 unboxing and review - H203, H204, H200, HD Camcorder
This is the HMX-H205 by Samsung. I'll be happy to answer any questions that I did not cover in the video. The HMX-H205 uses MP4 as its movie format. This video was recorded with the H205 that I had to return. I used SD 480/60p mode in "super fine" quality to record this. I had two defective camcorders before I got one that so far seems to be fine. Quality Control is suspect with these camcorders. I have many video samples from the H205 on YouTube. Samsung HMX-H204: 720p Time Lapse sample
Time lapse is one of my favorite "extra" features of the Samsung camcorders (it was also available in the MX20 which I bought last year.) Three clips; converted by Quicktime Pro 7 to ProRes 422(HQ); merged in Final Cut Pro; re-timed in Apple Motion 4 (50%) As it turns out, when you set the time-lapse feature for 1 sec intervals in 720/60p mode, the resultant clip will be played in 60frames per second... interesting... really fast playback. Twice as fast as you see here.

Original video is 19 seconds @41.8MB shot with Auto everything in 1080/60i with a bitrate of 17.26 Mbps (superfine quality). Video jerks at the beginning and end because you have to touch the camera to start/stop recording. [The neighbors A/C is very noisy.] [I need to find my "better" tripod.] -- i really like the touch focus feature!

Samsung HMX H204 Dragonfly 20x Optical Zoom
This is a clip I got at a park in Seoul. Sorry for the shaking - I was at full zoom and holding the camera with one hand. Then the battery died! Haha. This was the raw video off the camera sent straight to YouTube. 44MB for half a minute or so. Shot in 720P 60 frames per second. Super fine setting.
