CES 2009: Samsung HMX-H106 SSD Camcorders
Samsung shows us their HMX-H106 64GB SSD camcorder. It's the first SSD camcorder, has a small form factor, optical image stabilizer, Shneider lense, touch-screen LCD and shoots in full HD. It will be available in the first half of the year along with 16GB and 36GB versions so keep your eyes open!

Test with Samsung HMX-H106 -- My cats
Just got the Samsung HMX-H106, and tested it with my two cats Serina and... a kitten I haven't named yet. Lol. It's a little shaky and out of focus at times, but it's not the camera's fault, I just had no idea what I was doing. I never had a video camera before. I was originally going to get the Sony Sony HDR-CX110 , but the place I went to offered me this camera which he swore was a million times better, and only a little bit more expensive because of the fact that the store was having a special or something. He said it usually goes for over $800 or so, which when I researched when I got home, turns out to be true. ^_^ I suppose for once I got a great deal. Haha. I'm going to be making more videos, testing how good it is in low light settings and whatnot. But so far, I'm very happy with this.

Just wanted to point out how to use it, etc... I used my Canon Powershot A95 to video, it has a 3 minute limit, thus the short video (plus low battery) Sorry about the crappy quality :(

Samsung HMX H106 Time Lapse Demo in HD 1920x1080 with AC3 Sound
I shot this video on July 18, 2011 from the balcony of my apartment. It took about 5 hours to aquire enough frames to make this video. It was made to show the time lapse capabilities of the Samsung HMX H106 64Gb SSD Camcorder. I added a little creative pan and zoom, with Sony Vegas Pro Video editing software. The music was from an Amazon free download. It was shot at 1920x1080/60. If you have the internet speed, watch it in true HD, as I have posted it on here. The audio was rendered in AC3 StereoPlus (as opposed to Surround)
