Since the Kodak Zi8 did not work out to well for me I took it back and did a bit more research and seen this camcorder on for $269.99 at my local "radioshack" which is called The Source here. I picked it up and I'm liking it so far, I think i might have a winner =)

Samsung K40 Upscaling with Boris Uprez (Stop this train, Cover)
This is just a little fotage of me playing stop this train by john mayer (yes, I know, I'm drastically out of tune), that was meant just to try upscaling, with final cut express and Borisc UpRez filter. I think it's a pretty good result! Comments and suggestion really appreciated! :D

Impromptu Test of Samsung SMX-K40 Camcorder
This video was taken during a drive to Cowichan Bay, British Columbia. The start was just after the turn off from the Trans-Canada Highway just south of Duncan. The video was not edited and is in the camera's native file format in it's highest quality and with all the automatic settings. The camera does better outdoors than indoors. The lighting was quite variable for outdoor daytime conditions. I was holding the camera in mu hands on a road that is not the smoothest. I think the camera optical image stabilization is alright.
