Sony HDR-AX2000 AVCHD Camcorder
Sony's HDR-AX2000 AVCHD Camcorder makes for an impressive prosumer-level AVCHD camcorder. The Sony HDR-AX2000 AVCHD Camcorder's clear step up from its HDV predecessor, the HDR-FX1000. The camera's ability to capture HD and SD video in AVCHD and MPEG-2 formats--and save it to solid state media--is only one of the traits distinguishing it from its tape-based forebearer. Full 1920 x 1080 HD video--which can be recorded at 60i, 30p and 24p--is another. The footage is saved to either Memory Stick PRO Duo or SD/SDHC cards, then easily downloaded to computer for editing via USB 2.0 interface with the Sony HDR-AX2000 AVCHD Camcorder.

In this video I am unboxing my new HD video camera, the Sony HDR-AX2000. As well as my new shotgun mic, the Azden SGM-X1 super cardioid shotgun condenser mic. I purchased this one after months of extensive research, and comparing prices vs features. And the AX-2000 has everything I was looking for. AVCHD codec, SDHC, full controls over audio and video, XLR inputs, headphone inputs, and great imagery. I purchased it from B&H photo. Links are below. If your interested in getting a Prosumer pro sumer tv brodcast quality cam corder then check this out. The Sony HDR-Ax200 is a cross between a Sony HDR-Fx1000 and a Sony HDR-U5U Z1u. Incredible slow motion at 240 Frames a Second with Sony's smooth slow record. LAPD Police helicopter flying in slow motion and Slow motion bottle breaking guy flying in slow motion. This camera's incredible, it's a newer version of the HDR-Fx1 and HDR-Fx1000 but a Junior version of the sony Ex1 and Ex1E. At only $3500 this camera is the best Prosumer for the price since the aging HVX200 is six or Seven grand. This is one of the things this prosumer camera has that cameras like the 5d and 7d don't have. An awesome blend of special effects and the coolness that comes with putting stuff in slowmotion. Awesome cinematic look at the smooth slow record slow motion feature on this entry level prosumer camera. awesome heroes tv show style slow motion flying effects. Review and comparison of the Canon EOS 5D MkII and the sony's new prosumer. The best DSLR, the 5D goes up against the Sony Ex1's little brother the Ax2000. If you're looking for the best camera in the prosumer market, the Sony HDR-Ax2000e is the best with all things including price considered and the 5d is the best Digital SLR. The 5D is used by almost all major youtubers as well as even some TV pilot epsisodes the season finally of Glee and even the subway scene in Black Swan. The Ax 2000 which features an awesome mic and 240 fps slow motion is used for web series and porn. Full footage low light night and daylight comparison coming in one of the next videos. The 5D has better picture quality than the sony but the sony has way more features for Video like smooth slow record which records in HD at 240 frames a second. It also has awesomeness like duel XLR imputs and a huge battery compartment where you could slide in Sony's 18 hour battery. The 5d is usually compared to the Sony Ex1 or the Hvx200 or even Sony's new Fs100, the camera that corridordigital uses. These are the best cameras for the Three and a half thousand dollar price range. In the not so distant future we're going to start seeing more and more high tec cameras coming out like the Red Scarlett and cameras that shoot raw onto SD card.
