Test Video
Music: Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) This is a small compilation of vids to show the capabilities of the new sony AVCHD handycam HDR-CX305 (year 2010). This handycam is equipped with the 1/4" sony Exmor-R sensor and wide angle sony G-lens. The small size, 12x optical zoom, active image stabilization and built in 16 GB of flash memory makes this handycam attractive for consumers, but do these technologies really work and are worth the price? Watch the vid and decide for yourself. I tried to compile as much as possible in this small vid - Low Lux mode (vids taken at night, so the grain is visible), Capabilities of the active OIS at zoomed state, TeleMacro mode, Moon is for comparative reasons to understand what image can be acquired at max zoom. I didn't include a low light footage (Those dark scenes of NLC clouds ar taken at night - it is very low light) because there already are some on youtube. * Footage taken with the highest quality @ 24 Mbps.
