Jogging Diary 4th November 2009 Part 1 - Sony Handycam HDR-TG7VE
Fed up of the treadmill and working out in the Gym I saw the sun at lunchtime and I headed straight for my Saucony running shoes. It was a glorious November day! It also offered me a great opportunity to try out the Sony Handycam HDR-TG7VE in sunny conditions and whilst exercising. This camcorder is; small; high definition; GPS enabled and a potential alternative to the Flip Mino. Although much more expensive than the Mino the geotagging and relatively high definition stills all packaged up in a compact and uncluttered box is worth investigating. Watch the video to see what it can do!

A demonstration of the different wide angle lens options for the Sony HDR-TG1 / HDR-TG3 camcorder. You can see how the same scene looks when filmed with the Sony Camera without a wide lens, with a Magnetic Lens and with the official Sony VCL-HGE07TB wide lens. HD Red Arrows Lymington Sept 09 - Sony HDR TG1 / TG3
The Sony Handycam HDR-TG7 which replaces HDR TG1 / TG3 as used to shoot this impromtu Red Arrows video has to be the perfect HD video camera to always have in your back pocket since you just never know when you might come accross something really exciting to video. For example on 13th September 09 we were driving through the New Forest, Hampshire UK and accidentally came accross this just about to happen private Red Arrows display organised by Mr Charles Burnett III as a thank you and celebration for the all engineers and supporters of www.steamcar.co.uk which broke the land speed record for a steam car in Aug 09. Mr Charles Burnett III also kindly let locals come onto his land to enjoy this most excellent "flat" display by the Red Arrows. We say "flat", because apparently air traffic control could not close the air lane into Southampton so the Red Arrows had to fly beneath commercial traffic heading for Southampton which must have made an interesting view for those passengers.
