Sony HVR-V1E 1080i tests and shots
Just this week I became the proud owner of a Sony HVR-V1E HD camcorder so here's a compilation of shots I managed to gather whilst familiarizing myself with it and it's functions. If you're someone who's interested in buying or using this camera, hopefully this video will prove useful. For the rest of you, you might enjoy some of the shots! For this video I was filming in 1080i (interlaced). I'll get some progressive scan footage up soon for comparison. You'll notice a significant resolution drop during the 'smooth slow mo' clips in this video. Although less noticeable in daylight capturing, this is about as sharp as the camera gets with slow motion. Still a pretty neat trick though. Enjoy!
