Exclusive video clip of huge tornado nearly kills 2 truckers -- they hide under a bridge overpass as the tornado goes over top of them. This occurred on Intersate 80 near Grand Island, NE. Field test: Neewer 52mm ND Fader Neutral Density Adjustable Variable Filter (ND2 to ND400)
This was just under $14 on Amazon. I didn't see any information on it anywhere, so I put up some test footage. I'm basically just going from the MIN and turning to where it isnt over exposed. Its a good way to maintain a given shutter speed, aperture and ISO. I also have a knockoff Hoya Pro 1 UV filter in between the camera and nd filter. I know, spend $$$$ on a camera and $$$ on a lens, then $ on everything else. But I need to experiment to see what I really need, and can always upgrade to better stuff later. The video is kinda shaky, as I started the video 7 miles into my hike, and the bugs started attacking me. Too tired to break out the monopod. Removed audio as its either just wind, bugs zipping around, or me cursing at said bugs. Using YT music to bypass the copyright hassle. Until I'm better at filming, this ND filter is good enough, especially for the $$. The best accessory I have for the 60D, aside from the 3" Carry Speed LCD View Finder. Campo Tornado, Part 1, Start
Video footage of the Campo tornado touchdown. Since I was filming directly into the sun, I couldn't focus correctly on the close-up so this is why it's blurry -- sorry -- a bit of bad filming on my part. Beginning of Campo(CO) Tornado (approx. 6:03 MDT). Two towers went up around 12:15 pm approx. 7-10 miles west of Springfield. The southern tower merged w/ the dominant northern cell. The first funnel was at 2:03 pm which prompted a Tor Warning from NWS -- I tried to call Skywarn but had "No Service". For the next 4 hours it cont'd to produce funnels and ragged wall clouds, then around 5:50 the meso really tightened up south of Campo(Co) --- I stayed along side it until the funnel touched down at 6:03 pm then really strengthened into a classic stove-pipe. It was 500-600 yards away moving towards me (I had to move south 1/8 mile when it was 350 yards from me. Replacing Fuse on BMW E90
www.bmwtis.com Swapped out a burnt out 15 amp (blue) mini fuse No. 57 for a 20 amp (yellow) mini fuse and everything is back to working. Good thing because my car is out of warranty.
