In the video, our presenter is given the task to review the latest and newest ultra wide angle zoom from Nikon - the 16-35mm f/4 ED VR, and compare it to Canon's flagship wide angle zoom - the 16-35mm f2.8 L Mark II. Because we have destroyed too many products in our previous videos, the producer asked Kai to limit the budget to £30. Watch this video to find how well Kai did.. I have been wondering "What is the best lens for Glidecam HD-4000?" I found out 16-35 mm is best for Glidecam since its ultrawide angle minimizes instability experienced when using medium-range lens like 50mm. I used canon 16-35mm f 2.8 L2 USM lens and I got the gliding experience i have been looking for. Another good thing about 16-35mm is that even a slight movement can be easily noticed and thus that GLIDING EFFECT in your video is more prominent compared to using lens like 50mm or other medium-range lenses. I used 50mm f1.8 with glidecam and you have to literally walk few meter before you can see the gliding effect. :D Camera: Canon 5D MII Lens: Canon 16-35mm f2.8 L2 USM Stabilizer: Glidecam HD-4000 Editor: Adobe Premier Pro CS6 Music: Fireheads by Emiliana Torrini Location: Swan River and Northbridge, Perth, Western Australia
