Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 Prime Lens Review - On My Canon EOS 350d / Digital Rebel XT
www.robnunnphoto.com Another lens I bought from eBay a few months ago. The Canon EF 28mm f is a prime lens, which means there's no zoom, but it offers great image quality and a pretty fast (wide) aperture for a bargain price. Offering about the equivalent of a 45mm lens on a crop sensor dSLR like my 350d / Rebel XT, it's great for landscapes or portraits where you need that extra angle of view. Watch out for some barrel distortion at the edges, but overall I love this lens, and it's the one that I always leave on my camera. Cheers, Rob

Canon EF 28mm f/2.8 Wide Angle Lens Review
This is a review of a great prime lens now available from Canon. It allows a great amount of light to enter the camera, which is ideal for nighttime photography and cinematography. The build of this lens is quite impressive, as it includes a distance scale, a safety focal ring, and is made of denser materials than those used on EF-S lenses. Canon EF 50mm 1.8 v Canon EF 28mm 2.8. I've read the 28mm isn't very wide on a cropped sensor so I wanted to see what I could get in the frame, compared to the 50mm. Camera and lens noobs like myself might find this informative. (For guidance the cup and the lentils jar were both approx 24" from the camera.)
