Hier geht es um das Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L IS USM: Was bringt Canons neues Tele der L Klasse für das Filmen? Anhand von Beispielen zeigt Stefan Czech hier wie sich das "neue Weiße" schlägt. Es ist Zeit für einen neuen Filmpraxis Podcast mit einer neu Vorstellung. Das Canon EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 L IS ist seit ca. einem halben Jahr auf dem Markt und in dem Podcast wird die Verwendung diese Objektives für das Filmen mit der DSLR beleuchtet. Anders als die vorherigen Filmpraxis Podcasts wurde dieser komplett mit zwei Canon EOS 5D MarkII gedreht. Auf der einen Kamera war genau diese Objektiv im Einsatz. Besonders sticht der Bildstabilisator des 70-300er hervor. Dieser arbeitet so gut, dass er 4 Blenden Stufen kompensieren kann und unterstütz somit besonders das Filmen aus der Hand und von der Schulter. froknowsphoto.com Click here to see the full res sample images Recently Canon USA sent me a T2i to play with along with the NEW Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM. As you will be able to tell from the video my first gut reaction is "WHAT" the price is $1599.99!!!! That is a lot of money for a F4-5.6 zoom lens. Keep in mind that the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS is $1899.99 USA. Lets put price aside and talk about the lens and the type of images it creates. The lens is flat out amazing in terms of build quality, focus speed, sharpness, color and pretty much anything it does. It will have one draw back and that would be shooting in low light situations as well as indoors. There is only so much you can raise your ISO to compensate for the lack of the lens being a 2.8. After using this lens for a few hours while photographing some soccer I came to really enjoy having such a long reach. The 300mm becomes a 480mm on the Canon T2i because of the 1.6x crop factor. To be able to fill the frame from across the filed is just incredible. It is even more incredible that the focus was fast, smooth and tack sharp. The lens did miss a few times but that is going to happen with any lens you use. The zoom ring is smooth and responsive though on occasions my palm would tweak the focus ring by accident. What makes me end up giving this lens a good review was seeing the results in the computer. When I notice that the EXIF info showed me 266mm zoom and the player filed the frame with such clarity and <b>...</b>

Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5,6 Di VC USD - DEMO
Seit Kurzem habe ich das Objektiv Tamron SP 70-300mm F/4-5,6 Di VC USD in Gebrauch. Um Interessierten einen kleinen Eindruck zu ermöglichen habe ich dieses kurze Video erstellt. Es zeigt Aufnahmen des Objektives selbst, um einen Qualitätseindruck zu ermöglichen, aber auch kurze Videosequenzen um den Betrieb des Verwacklungsschutzes zeigen zu können. Der Verwacklungsschutz des Tamron (VC) funktioniert hervorragend. Die Wackler in den Beispielsequenzen sind zu einem großen Teil auf meine nervöse Hand an dem Tag zurückzuführen. Schließlich gibt es auch noch einige Fotos mit unterschiedlichsten Motiven, um sich einen Eindruck verschaffen zu können. Einige Einstellungen sind dabei nicht optimal gewesen, aber ich bin ja auch noch in der Experimentier- und Lernphase mit dem Tamron ;) Ich hoffe mit dem Film manch Unentschlossenem bei seiner Entscheidung helfen zu können. Das Objektiv habe ich - Jetzt kann ich an meinen Fähigkeiten weiterarbeiten. Es gibt viel zu tun! Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 L IS USM video sample - IS test
In this video you can see the image stabilizer in action. The lens is mounted on a Canon 5D Mark II and no tripod is used. Personally, I am impressed by the technical performance of this lens. The IS unit performs very silent which is hard to hear in video even in a silent room and its effectiveness on stabilizing the images even in strong hand shakes. You can not hear the sound from zooming and focus motor in the video and this performance justifies the high price for this lens, even with a variable aperture(F/4-5.6)
