Hello, Today I am going to be reviewing the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 Telephoto lens. As mentioned this lens is the Nikon Mount. Over-all I am extremely happy with this lens! It's performs amazing for it's price. It's has a lot more uses than just being a 70-200mm lens. The Macro is ok, gets the job done. And this lens does great for portraits, sports, and even landscape. It's pretty sharp throughout the entire zoom range and no part of the lens moves while zooming, the front nor rear element moves. The mount is 77mm. The lens weighs about 3 pounds so a tripod/monopod is probably wanted. The lens cost about $800. You will be very happy with this lens. Very happy. Sigma lens that i purchased recently to replace a nikon 18-70mm kit lens. it is mainly used for weddings and just wandering around the neighborhood. list price is $900 but i can assure you that it it worth every penny. i have used the nikon equivalent and i would say this is on par (or atleast amazingly close) to the quality, feel, and end result. it was on a Nikon d80 with an MBD80 battery grip for this video

Peaceful Existance
Shot in Ventura County on Santa Paula's hills and in Ventura. Video was untouched besides cutting up the footage and stabilizing some moving shots that were not 100% smooth. Also the studdery look comes from using high-shutter due to me not haveing the ND filter to knock down the light that entered the lens. The 50mm lens came later once there is no issue with the studdery look. Two FLD glass elements, which have the performance equal to fluorite glass have also been added along with three SLD glass elements, all which provide excellent correction of color aberration. In spite of the additions of all of these features, Sigma has managed to make the lens more compact than its predecessor, measuring only 7.8" in length. For any serious photographer where the 70-200mm focal range is often the most important second lens to own after the initial standards lens or mid range zooms.
