"For The King Who´d Never Seen It"

This movie is about the most beautiful castle in germany. It´s the Neuschwanstein Castle, which was built 1869 on behalf of Ludwig II, king of Bavaria as a retreat to Richard Wagner. King Ludwig just lived there for two months (in one of the towers) and died before the palace has been finished. This is my first movie, where also my girlfriend was shooting several shots with my 7D. It took three days to gather all those nice places in the south of germany, close to Austria. We walked I dunno how many miles with all the equipment on this very sunny days, but it was a great pleasure to see this nice place again after 20 years. Canon 35mm f1.4 vs Sigma 30mm f1.4 head to head - DSLR FILM NOOB

www.dslrfilmnoob.com I often recommend the Sigma 30mm f1.4 as a good crop sensor camera lens for people on a budget. But how does it stack up against the Canon 35mm f1.4 lens. At around $1300 to $1400 new, the Canon 35mm f1.4 lens is a big investment, so much so, that I often recommend saving that money and buying 3 mid range primes instead. The Sigma 30mm f1.4 on the other hand runs about a 3rd the price at around $400. So is the price difference worth it? I think that depends on your mind set. The Canon 35mm f1.4 looked better (to me) in many of the shots as far as over all sharpness is concerned and the sigma 30mm f1.4 did have some slight vignetting in a few of the shots. But I guess the question remains, is the Canon 35mm f1.4 $900 better then the sigma 30mm f1.4? I think you will probably have to vote with your dollar. Take a look at the footage and decide which lens works best for your budget. Canon 24mm 1.4 Mark II vs Sigma 24mm 1.8 Macro Lens Review

www.learningdslrvideo.com One of my favorite channels to watch on YouTube is DeeJay Scharton's over at DSLRFilmNoob.com. He does a lot of product reviews and tutorials on this channel, I have learned a lot from him over the past 2 years. DeeJay has a ton more experience than I do shooting shorts and other movies, checkout DeeJay's IMDB page. DeeJay has a much different shooting style than I do, he tends to use mostly primes for his movies, while I use mostly zooms for my promo and corporate videos. So I thought it would be fun to do a video together. I learned a lot watching him work and was amazed by all the gear he owns. Since both of our YouTube subscribers seem to like lens reviews, in this video we are comparing the Canon 24mm 1.4 Mark II vs Sigma 24mm 1.8 Marco lenses. Sharpness On a crop sensor as you can see here the Canon on the left at 1.8 is a bit sharper in the center of the frame. And then as we move up to the upper left hand corner of the frame you can see the the Sigma on the right gets pretty smeary compared to the Canon on the left. Running the exact same test on the 5D full frame starting in the upper corner you can see again that the Canon is a bit sharper, as we move to the center you can see that the Canon is noticeably sharper than the Sigma. Lets head back to the crop sensor and an f-stop of 2.8 to see if the Sigma can improve at a slightly higher f-stop number. And yes the Sigma does better now but I would still give the win to the Canon. As we <b>...</b>
