Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 II APO EX DG (Macro) Telephoto Lens (Nikon Mount)
Hello, Today I am going to be reviewing the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 Telephoto lens. As mentioned this lens is the Nikon Mount. Over-all I am extremely happy with this lens! It's performs amazing for it's price. It's has a lot more uses than just being a 70-200mm lens. The Macro is ok, gets the job done. And this lens does great for portraits, sports, and even landscape. It's pretty sharp throughout the entire zoom range and no part of the lens moves while zooming, the front nor rear element moves. The mount is 77mm. The lens weighs about 3 pounds so a tripod/monopod is probably wanted. The lens cost about $800. You will be very happy with this lens. Very happy. Here are the new sigma APO 70-200 f2.8 EX DG OS HSM for canon Speed test Sorry that this video is recorded in hurry and have noise and some is out of focus :( but the HSM seems great ! The camera mic are extremely good that it recorded the silence motor HSM sound and the noise out of my room( i already close the door and windows) :( actually the hsm is remain silence. :) if you are not put your ear on the lens.

UNBOXING: www.youtube.com More on: sigma70-200-os.blogspot.com Some random footage, sample video images with the new Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM lens, Canon mount. Shot mostly at f2.8 - except the opening street shot; iso 100-1250, on a 5D2. The orchestra shots are handheld (OS on) and the rest on a tripod (OS off). I kept the original audio so you can hear camera operation sounds and the optical stabilizer buzzing (actually pretty quiet). Also I have inserted the flower shots so you can see the shape of the bohek. I think the lens works very well for video because of the large aperture, the zoom range and the extremely usefull OS. The downside is that the lens is a bit heavy and the focus ring is kind of stiff, but I got used to it pretty fast.
