I am NOT a new photographer to Sony, since I have an Alpha 100 with 18-70 and 75-300 lenses that I've had for over five years. However, some issues came up during a recent trip out west, and I was in the market for something upgraded. I had seen the SLT-A57 up close and personal, and knew that it was the camera that I wanted. I also wanted the 55-200 lens.When I found this kit on Amazon, I knew that it was the one for me. But like I said, I was a little skeptical since sometimes an ad promises a number of items, and when you look closer, they're in opened packages, are older stock, or actually a non-name-brand item. That is NOT the case in this kit. The camera with 18-55 lens came totally unopened, with all the usual tags on the items. Same for the 55-200 lens -- totally factory fresh and the latest version (a SAL55200-2). I didn't expect the battery to be Sony, and it ISN'T. But it's 2000ma instead of the 1600ma with the Sony label. So I'm not at all disappointed.Today I got my Fedex package with all items included just like the ad said. And bubble wrap totally surrounded everything so there was no chance for damage. WOW!! I ordered five days ago, and two of the days were over the weekend. Exceptional service <b>...</b>
