Hello, Today I am going to be reviewing the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 Telephoto lens. As mentioned this lens is the Nikon Mount. Over-all I am extremely happy with this lens! It's performs amazing for it's price. It's has a lot more uses than just being a 70-200mm lens. The Macro is ok, gets the job done. And this lens does great for portraits, sports, and even landscape. It's pretty sharp throughout the entire zoom range and no part of the lens moves while zooming, the front nor rear element moves. The mount is 77mm. The lens weighs about 3 pounds so a tripod/monopod is probably wanted. The lens cost about $800. You will be very happy with this lens. Very happy. B&H Photo Video Link; bit.ly Music- Grafix- One Condition All photo's taken by myself using a Nikon D60 and D300 with the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 attached. *Just to note, this lens does not have any type of image stabilization on it. Which is a huge deal-breaker because of the f/2.8 aperture on it. Thanks, chargerfun34
The Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 lens if often recommended for crop sensor cameras. But I've had a hard time finding video footage of the lens in use. So Along with a short review I've taken the time to demonstrate the Tokina 11-16 in video mode on my canon 7d. Equipment used: Canon 7d, Sigma 24 1.8, tokina 11-16, and zoom h4n

A short review and test of the Minolta Maxxum 20mm f/2.8 for the A or Sony Alpha mount. Included is a short of the lens working on the Sony A700.
Combine the brilliant Olympus Pen series of Micro 4/3 cameras with the classic awesome lenses of Nikon manual focus primes. Achieve smashing depth of field and impressive bokeh for photos and movie clips. Your movies take on a Hollywood feel with blurred backgrounds and crisp sharp subjects. Observe the focus move up and down with amazing simplicity of turning the focus ring of the lens. Any Olympus or Panasonic micro 4/3 camera will be applicable for this video. Olympus currently has several models like the E-P1, E-PL1, E-P2, E-PL2, EP3 and other variants.
The sharpest macro lens for the Sony Alpha mount! Together with its auto focus speed, sharpness, and further minimum focusing distance (as compared with the 50mm F/2.8 and Tamron 90mm and 60mm), this lens is a real winner! Macro photos here: www.flickr.com
photography-on-the.net In response to the rather rude comments from this video: www.youtube.com Part 1 here: www.youtube.com Basically, this lens is superb. Great focus speed, macro capability, zoom range...despite being a variable aperture lens (as opposed to a fixed aperture zoom lens), this is probably the perfect walkaround lens. This "jumpy" issue that can be seen through the viewfinder, in live view, and is recorded on video, is the only caveat. I thought it was something normal and I had to deal with until I searched POTN (Photography on the net, a Canon forum) with specific keywords, and the thread at the top of the description popped up. Sounded exactly like the issue I was having. A Google web search yields similar threads. Not plenty, but enough considering the specific keywords. I took it to Sigma in Long Island, and they seemed to not even address or notice the issue in their testing. Looks like I'll have to bring it back to them. Which is a shame because I am probably going to have to pay twice :( In this video, I am using the T2i to film the performance of the lens on my main workhorse camera (which is also the camera I first noticed the issue on), my Canon 40D. I used both the onboard/built-in microphone on the T2i to record the noises made from the lens, as well as a Sennheiser MKE-300 shotgun mic to record the noises as well. You can clearly see and hear the issue. Note: Lens doesn't exhibit this behavior when the camera is off and you're looking through ...

My second test with the Sony A55. This time I'm using a DIY Pov rig (Optech Pro loop connector around my neck + table tripod on my chest). I can't wait to make some serious work with this kind of rig. All this video was record in MF mode. Sorry there was a dust paticle on the front element of the lens.
