Hello, Today I am going to be reviewing the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 Telephoto lens. As mentioned this lens is the Nikon Mount. Over-all I am extremely happy with this lens! It's performs amazing for it's price. It's has a lot more uses than just being a 70-200mm lens. The Macro is ok, gets the job done. And this lens does great for portraits, sports, and even landscape. It's pretty sharp throughout the entire zoom range and no part of the lens moves while zooming, the front nor rear element moves. The mount is 77mm. The lens weighs about 3 pounds so a tripod/monopod is probably wanted. The lens cost about $800. You will be very happy with this lens. Very happy. B&H Photo Video Link; bit.ly Music- Grafix- One Condition All photo's taken by myself using a Nikon D60 and D300 with the Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 attached. *Just to note, this lens does not have any type of image stabilization on it. Which is a huge deal-breaker because of the f/2.8 aperture on it. Thanks, chargerfun34

Tamron AF 70-200mm f/2.8 Di LD IF Macro Lens for Sony Digital SLR Cameras Unboxing and Sample images Great Lens! it's not too slow or too loud for my uses... Optically it's spectacular! It is quite heavy, so your camera's neck strap will probably not work, so i use a Black Rapid RS7 attached to the tripod collar and it works great, no problem carrying this lens all days. No vignette at all on a crop sensor i have found no detectable Chromatic aberration yet. great value for the price!! 1/2 the price of the 70-200 2.8 sony pro lens The carrying case is nice, but i wish it has a belt loop... since it does not, and is too big for my camera bag, i will probably never use it links to some of the full-res pictures Crocodile picasaweb.google.com Tortes picasaweb.google.com Mercat picasaweb.google.com camel drool picasaweb.google.com giraffe picasaweb.google.com giraffe picasaweb.google.com ivy path picasaweb.google.com flowers -- zoom in picasaweb.google.com Bell tower picasaweb.google.com Here is a gallery of additional full res photos taken with this lens picasaweb.google.com
This is the "beercan" lens vs the new Sigma 70-200mm F/2.8 HSM Macro II lens. both tested on a Sony A700 camera. I think i have a problem with my copy of the sigma lens , so nobody freak out TOO much. I'm sending the sigma back to see if maybe it was just a bad copy. Maybe i'll post a video of it when i get the new one.
