Short Tamron SP AF 17-50 mm F/2,8 XR Di II lens video comparsion for shooting with VC stabilisation ON and OFF. You can hear the "buzz" in built in mic clearly when on. But you can see it helps to reduce the camera shake pretty well though. Shot handheld on Canon 550D in 1080p and 480p crop mode to see the effect of stabilisation better. Hope this gives you an idea when deciding whether its worth choosing the VC version. Note: This is not the lens sharpness/image quality test. Its not really well focused.
