Joby Gorillapod Focus incl. Ballhead X
Gorillapod Focus en bijpassende Ballhead X zijn zowel los als in bundel verkrijgbaar. Voor de zwaarste Gorillapod-variant, de Gorillapod Focus verschijnt een balhoofd welke los en in één verpakking met de Gorillapod Focus zelf verkrijgbaar is. Beiden kunnen een gewicht van maar liefst 5 kilogram dragen en zijn geschikt voor videocamera´s en professionele spiegelreflex camera's met telelens. De nieuwe Ballhead X maakt het mogelijk om in portretstand te fotograferen. Het balhoofd is gemaakt van gewapend aluminium en ontworpen in een opvallende X-vorm wat het een stoere verschijning maakt. Het snelkoppelingsplaatje is gemakkelijk stevig vast te zetten dankzij een robuuste draaiknop. De bovenzijde van het plaatje is afgewerkt met stevig ABS kunststof voor extra grip. De universele 3/8" schroefdraad van roestvrij staal past op vrijwel iedere camera. Voor speciale modellen met een 1/4" schroefdraad is een speciaal verloopmoertje meegeleverd. De Ballhead X is tevens draaibaar: de cijfernotatie op de voet van het balhoofd maakt het zeer gemakkelijk de richthoek van de camera te bepalen bij het maken van de foto. De Gorillapod Focus en Ballhead X zijn speciaal ontworpen voor professioneel gebruik. Niet alleen is het mogelijk om dankzij de kogelgewrichten van het statief zware camera's overal aan te bevestigen, ook kan hij helpen het beeld van videocamera's stabiel te houden, wanneer de buigzame benen als ondersteuning tegen de borst worden gepositioneerd.
