Tripod review with a me showing you the tripod in use today 26 December 2010. The cost of the tripod was au$169. I would give this 10 out of 10 for a tripod. But for filming planes and needing a 180 degree pan it would help if the legs were further apart but really I just need to get use to it so i don't kick it.

The Master of Instructional Design & Technology, Open University Malaysia
Professor Dr Abtar Kaur, the lead facilitator & programme coordinator for the Master of Instructional Design & Technology (MIDT) has kindly invited me to produce a video for her. This video will be submitted along with her entry documents to compete in the UNESCO King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the use of Information and Communication Technologies in Education, 2010. The award theme for year 2010 is Digital Literacy: Preparing Adult Learners for Lifelong Learning and Flexible Employment. This video showcases the MIDT program of Open University Malaysia, and how it has prepared adult learners for lifelong learning and flexible employment. See it here: goo.gl Outside Australia: goo.gl Today ThatNikonGuy (Matt Granger) headed out with the super Fujifilm X100 fixed lens camera for some night photography. All shots taken with the simple Velbon CX-888 tripod. This was not a well planned trip, we just walked around before and after dinner, and I took quick shots when I saw something interesting - no more than two frames at each location to keep the stops under 5 minutes each for my patient friends! Note - I shot these in aperture priority mode, choosing an aperture that got enough DOF and gave me a shutter speed I wanted. I set exposure compensation to what I wanted - usually around minus 1 to 2 stops. Video footage shot on Nikon D5100 PLEASE SUBSCRIBE - Lots more videos coming every few days. 三脚キターーーーー。めちゃくちゃ嬉しいです。一年間ぐらいビデオブロガーをしてきましたが、三脚がないと何かと不便で!!でも、とうとうネットで購入!!楽天で買って、送料あわせて3500円ぐらいです。そこそこ安いでしょ!?
