Velbon PHD-31Q head with quick release is a compact tripod head offered by Velbon. The aluminium alloy construction makes it perfect for heavy cameras, binoculars and scopes. The head is equipped with a quick release that fits on the head easily and which facilitate the user to put the camera or other devices on the head quickly.
The head incorporates attachment socket and a removable adapter that facilitates you to locate the camera and other devices easily on the head. Beside these facilities, the head comes with a spirit level for better and align images when using the camera in portrait or landscape mode.
The Velbon PHD-31Q 3-way head includes two handles one for pan and the other one for tilting. Both of the handles are interchangeable to left and right depending on the requirements. The locking knob located on the head is also interchangeable to both sides. The lock also provide better control over the panning of the head and facilitates you to locate the camera on the target easily.
