Velbon V-Pod Tripod is a lightweight and compact support which is suitable for travelling. Velbon V-Pod is a table top tripod, appropriate for macro work. It is made strong and rigid enough to handle Digital SLR camera comfortably.
Velbon V-Pod Tripod is equipped with a ball head that makes it easy to rotate the head section to the desired position while a pan handle with a locking system, locks the Panhead so your hands will be free to get clear and crisp images. The 4-section legs of Velbon V-Pod Tripod attain a maximum height of 101cm and folds to only 29cm; this folded height enables you to place the pod in a small bag easily.
The sliding centre column is connected with the legs through brace arm for maximum stability while operating heavy cameras. For close to ground photography, Velbon V Pod tripod has the ability to use as a grounder by adjusting its legs to a minimum height of 28.5 cm above the ground. Its weight is only 275g but strong enough to hold 2kg load at its extreme position.
