This camera is packed with intuitive features.The touchscreen firmware has been updated and is now much more responsive. You can change settings in the program (P) mode instantly. You can't do that with many other cameras.No need to worry about dirty lenses as the lens is internally protected. The screen is bright and really easy to navigate. Smart capture gives control to the camera and it computes the right settings and does all the work for you - all you have to do is press the button to take the picture.I use the program mode as photography has been an interest of mine and the image quality is sharp as a tack.The optical zoom seems much more than x5 optical. I'm not sure how that works but I'm not complaining. The lens is crisp and kodak build their own sensors and supply the DSLR market so they know what they're doing.Did I mention that this camera is tiny? And it doesn't need a camera case it comes with its own velvet fabric pouch which just slips into your pocket.
